Our culture can be best represented with the following quote:

"The dictionary is the only place that success comes before work. Hard work is the price we must pay for success. I think you can accomplish anything if you're willing to pay the price."
-VINCE LOMBARDI

Athletes in our program have demonstrated some, if not all of the following:

  1. Volleyball Skill
  2. Strong Work Ethic
  3. Desire to learn
  4. Strong compete level
  5. Good leadership qualities
  6. Good team mate qualities
  7. Potential development strengths

In competitive volleyball, as in life, there is "NO EQUAL". There is however, Equitable. What does this mean?

Playing time is earned by:

  • the ability to perform
  • the ability to compete
  • an athletes' coach-ability
  • being a good team mate.

Simply being selected to the team does not mean that you have a right to play simply because you feel you should.

Playing time will not be discussed. Players not happy with their playing time, may simply be outplayed. If this is the case, you do not have the right to ask "why you are not playing", however you do have a right to know what you need to do to try to earn more playing time. It is your responsibility to do everything you can to be competitive. If you have questions as to what you can do to try to be more competitive, please feel free to set up time to speak with the coaches.
