We will be offering our Wolfcub Grade 4-6 Volleyball Fun-damentals Training - for those at the start of their volleyball journey.
We are also introducing a program geared for Multi-sport athletes and those with other commitments: Synergy Multi-Sport & Development League (Grade 6-10 Boys & Girls) - 1 night a week and playdays and events.
We are expecting to field 1 High performance "Wolfpack" team at each of the following age groups:
1 - U12/13 Girls team | 1 - U14 Girls team | 1 - U15 Girls team | 1 - U16 Girls team | 1 - U17/18 Girls team
We will field 1 High performance "Wolfpack SELECTS" team at each for the gr9(U15) Age group for1 boys team and 1 girls team.
Application and Registration info have been posted.
Space will be limited so you are encouraged to register early to ensure being accepted in the programs.

Club Team Positions Still Available

We are still looking to fill positions on the following teams:
U14/15 Boys looking for middles, and powers
U17Girls looking for middles, and powers

Teams will train from RE Mountain Secondary School or Peter Ewart Middle School.

The purpose of BC Youth Volleyball Club to provide athletes with access to quality coaching focussing on personal development, interpersonal and team development, and exposure to future athletic and academic opportunities.
 
Personal Development
  • Identification of Strengths & areas of Improvement.
  • Personalized development programs for each athlete.
  • Re-Assessment of development.
  • Coaching philosophy that promotes physical, emotional and psychological growth.
  • Specialization.
  • Increase of self confidence through Operant Behaviour Conditioning.Focus on the Positive and learn from the negative

Interpersonal and Team Development

  • The Club will take a "no-superstars" view on participants.
  • Attitudes and Egos must be left at the door and will not be accpeted on any team.
  • A team is only as strong as its weakest player.
  • Players will be pushed to perform to the best of their ability, however it is accepted that one persons weakness could be another persons strength.
  • Every attempt will be made to grow through ones weaknesses and promote their strengths.Players will earn floor time.
  • Floor time is not pre-determined and must be earned....at PRACTICE.
Exposure to future athletic and academic opportunities 
  • The Club will provide exposure to the academic and athletic opportunities in United States by providing paticipating in numerous tournaments throughout the season.
  • Practices and Matches may be taped and analyzed with the players/parents for use in personal development or for athlete promotion packages for recruiting purposes.
  • Athletes will receive "Bio-Cards" providing information on academic goals, physical testing scores, career possibilities.
